Illu-what?

I have been busy this week (doing things for The Pier Aquarium, running down to Saraslowta to Ringling to talk to my favorite teacher blahblahblah) and thus have not been home to work on art (what I would rather do)
So, in leu of the lack of work, I am going to show you yet another sewing project I completed.  It is what started out a library bag, but ended up my carry-all...literally.  It still does the majority of library book carrying because I love me some books.  In an almost unhealthy way.

Ooh! Those plaid elephants!

I made this for my dear friend Johnny 3d who loves him some elephants.  I tried to make it look like it is a boy's elephant.  My first 3d stuffed animal!  (As in, it has actual limbs instead of being like an animal pillow).  Seemed only appropriate.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

So, Matty loves peanut butter and also chicken.  He commissioned me to make him a stuffed PB and J sandwich (its the theme of his website: www.meswartz.com) so I did and totally made it so you can take it apart.  I had to make him a chicken leg too.  Anyway, then I got even more carried away and made it a sandwich bag.  That velcros closed.  I thought it would be funny.  Anyway I am a beginner sewer so its not perfect but I think its cute at least.
Mmm delicious

huh?

So I totally stole into a figure class supa quick but unfortunately it was a boring seating pose so I didn't do much.  But I thought I would post SOMETHING because I am currently painting and thus have nothing I can show, and I hate to leave things unblogged for too long.  Live with it!

p.s. doing figure again was way more fun than I remember
p.s.s. that teacher was all kinds of cray cray
